Founded
in 1981, Quotes provides its members with the opportunity
to get in touch with the real world of advertising and public
relations through various events such as the Mentor Program,
Alumni Panel, Knight Images Awards, Non Profit Panel, Addy
Awards, Interview/ Resume Workshop, and Intern Pursuit.
- Quotes
is focused on exploring careers in advertising and public
relations, but it is open to students of all majors.
- Quotes
is committed to providing opportunities for UCF students
to enhance their resumes and portfolios and gain valuable
experience in the communication field.
All
members of Quotes
are student members of the Florida Public Relations Association
and are invited to participate in FPRA events such as monthly
luncheons, Roast and Toast and the annual state conference.
- Weekly
Meetings are held Wednesday afternoons at 4:30pm
in VAB 132.
We welcome students of all majors to come join
us! You can view our upcoming
meetings and events, or view the minutes
from previous meetings.
- Applications
are available outside of Dr. Davis’ office
in COMM 250, or you can download
it here (ms word doc). Just fill out the form, and
return it at the next Quotes meeting with the member dues
($35 for new members, and $25 for renewals).
